Adventurer™ Rowing Canoe

Adventurer™ Rowing Canoe shown set up for solo rowing.

If you are looking for the perfect rowboat for general purpose touring and exercise, the Adventurer™ is the boat of choice.

Based on a tried and proven touring canoe shape, we redesigned the interior and framework, optimizing it for solo rowing with or without a passenger.  The large open cockpit area makes it easy to reposition the rowing station and passenger seat for optimum trim.

Shown set up for rowing with a passenger.

The Adventurer™ may not have the top speed of a racing shell, but one person rowing can expect to easily keep pace with a pair of hard-working paddlers in a typical tandem canoe, even with a passenger aboard.  This is more than enough speed for satisfying exercise or pleasure rowing.  An added bonus is that you can switch places with your passenger and relax on the way home.

With hands free rowing and a comfortable seat with a backrest, the Adventurer makes an excellent platform for photography, birding, and fishing.
