Concord Rowing Canoe

Concord Rowing Canoe shown set up for solo
rowing.
The "FrontRower Ready" Concord is an excellent all purpose
rowing canoe. It makes a very stable and seaworthy solo rowing boat. And it has enough
capacity to bring a passenger along in protected waters. Rowing with
a passenger requires repositioning the rowing station and the crossbars.
It may not have the top speed of a racing shell, but one person rowing
can easily go faster than two hard-working paddlers in the same boat. This is more than
enough speed for satisfying exercise or pleasure rowing, and it is very
efficient at long distance cruising speeds.
In kevlar
lay-up with wood gunwales (the rails on the top of the sides), this boat is light enough for easy car-topping
or transporting on a dolly.
The Concord is manufactured by Lincoln
Canoes in Freeport Maine.
